PRESS RELEASE

Louisiana International Piano Competition
www.LAPianoCompetition.org

LECTURES/TOURS, LOUISIANA INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION

During the Louisiana International Piano Competition, lecture/tours can be scheduled for any age group. The purpose of this is to let people see the inner workings of the competition, get to know some of the pianists, and learn a bit about music.

YOUTH LECTURE
Young people can come as a group, they will get a 20-30 minute talk about the world of pianists and something about the music they will be hearing. They will then listen to a performance as it is streamed live on a big screen TV in the lobby at Coughlin-Saunders.
After the performance, they will get to ask questions and perhaps get to meet the actual performer they watched. It is also possible that this can be done in your classroom since it is being streamed live.  Times are limited so if you want Josh Chandra, pianist, to come to your school, please let us know as soon as possible.
